Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) supporters left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), 2-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Bacon County improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Raiders host Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to play the Purple Hurricane in a 1A D-I Region 1 game on Tuesday, September 2. The Purple Hurricane enter the game with a record of 2-9. Fitzgerald lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
