Illinois High School Volleyball - Galva over DePue
August 27, 2025: Galva, IL 61434 In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Galva Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the DePue Little Giants.
With the win, Galva improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Midland (Varna, IL) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Timberwolves go into the test with a record of 2-0. Midland won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL)
Next, the Little Giants meet the Earlville Red Raiders (Earlville, IL) in a Little Ten challenge, on Thursday, September 4. DePue will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Bede (Peru, IL).
