In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Novi Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Utica Chieftains.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Marian (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Marian achieved victory over Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Chieftains now own a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Orion for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 27. Utica will face a Dragons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 6-2.
