The Los Gatos Wildcats football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Monterey Trail Mustangs to 20 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league battle on Friday, September 3.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 3. Monterey Trail will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 52-16 non-league win over St. Mary's (Stockton, CA).
