Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Bearcats face the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a Greater South Shore challenge, on Tuesday, August 31. Wheeler will attempt to better on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Hammond (Hammond, IN).

The Ingots now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond Bishop Noll for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 31.
