Alabama High School Volleyball - Colbert Heights can't hold off Lamar County
August 28, 2021: Tuscumbia, AL 35674 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Lamar County Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Colbert Heights Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Marion County (Guin, AL). The Red Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Marion County was edged by Winfield (Winfield, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Haleyville Lions (Haleyville, AL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, August 28. Colbert Heights will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 5-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AL).
