The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX) and the host Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), saw Dripping Springs's volleyball squad nip Vista Ridge by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Dripping Springs upgrades its record to 18-13 on the year. The Tigers travel to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX) to play the Cougars in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, August 31. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Canyon lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX)

The Rangers now own a 19-9 record. They play next when they host Hendrickson for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 31. Vista Ridge will play a Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Northwest (Justin, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 24-3.
