August 28, 2021: Portland, TN 37148 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Portland Panthers (Portland, TN) and the visiting Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN), saw Portland's volleyball squad nip Lexington by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Portland upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to McEwen (McEwen, TN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 28. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
The Tigers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hickman County for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 28. Lexington will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-0.
