Kentucky High School Soccer - Tates Creek overwhelmed by Lexington Catholic
August 28, 2023: Lexington, KY 40503 The crowd at Monday's league test between the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), saw Lexington Catholic's soccer squad triumph over Tates Creek by a count of 6-0.
The Knights now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Whitley County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Lexington Catholic will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Tates Creek drops to 2-3 on the season. The Commodores travel to Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a District 43 test on Wednesday, August 30.
