August 28, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85392 The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions topped the visiting Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Tan Charter for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29.
The Golden Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Minotaur enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Odyssey Institute was knocked off by Florence (Florence, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
