Virginia High School Volleyball - Oakton tips Woodson
August 28, 2023: Vienna, VA 22181 Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. Oakton will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
With the loss, Woodson drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to battle the Rams in a non-league match on Wednesday, August 30. The Rams come into the match with a record of 0-1. Robinson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA)
