The McDowell Titans soccer team (Marion, NC), was nipped 2-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC)

With the win, Mountain Heritage advances its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 30. The Black Hawks go into the outing with a record of 1-2.
