Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Mohawk Area held off by Neshannock
August 28, 2023: New Castle, PA 16105 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) and the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA), saw Neshannock's soccer squad get by Mohawk Area by a margin of 3-2.
The Lancers now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Mercer for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Neshannock will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Grove City (Grove City, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Mohawk Area drops to 0-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to meet the Wolverine in a WPIAL AA 4 test on Tuesday, August 29. The Wolverine come into the test with a record of 0-0.
