In Monday's non-league contest, the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Raiders face the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a Sandhills 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Richmond will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).

With the loss, Forest Hills moves to 0-8 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to face the Wolf Pack in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest on Tuesday, August 29.
