August 28, 2023: Amity, OR 97101 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR) and the visiting Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR), saw Perrydale's volleyball squad nip Southwest Christian by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Perrydale upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Pirates host Western Christian (Salem, OR) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Western Christian won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR)
The Wildcats now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Mannahouse Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Southwest Christian will play a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR). The record now stands at 1-2.
