August 28, 2024: Forest, VA 24551 The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers walloped the visiting Gretna Hawks football team by a score of 71-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Jefferson Forest will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 36-6 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Martinsville was ripped by Patrick County (Stuart, VA), 13-6, in a non-league challenge.
