Ohio High School Soccer - North knocks off Garfield
August 28, 2024: Akron, OH 44301 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the North Vikings (Akron, OH) and the host Garfield Rams (Akron, OH), saw North's soccer squad prevail over Garfield by a count of 5-1.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Brush (Lyndhurst, OH). The Arcs enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Brush tipped Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Rams battle the Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Garfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Firestone (Akron, OH).
