Minnesota High School Soccer - Monticello nudges Mound-Westonka
August 28, 2024: Mound, MN 55364 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) and the host Mound-Westonka White Hawks (Mound, MN), saw Monticello's soccer squad hold off Mound-Westonka by a count of 2-1.
The Magic (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, North Branch was edged by Legacy Christian Academy (Andover, MN), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the White Hawks battle the Roosevelt Teddies (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. Mound-Westonka will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
