The Anderson Trojans football team scored 37 points and held the visiting McCallum Knights to 2 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Anderson will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 43-13 non-league loss to Hays (Buda, TX).
