August 28, 2025: Pontiac, MI 48340 Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Arts & Tech (Pontiac, MI), 20-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Pontiac improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Phoenix host Athens (Troy, MI) to play the Red Hawks in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Red Hawks go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Athens lost 31-28 in their recent league battle against Seaholm (Birmingham, MI)
The now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Academy for Business & Tech for a Charter - Silver battle on Friday, September 5. Arts & Tech will play a Gators team coming off a 26-14 non-league win over Genesee (Genesee, MI). The Gators record now stands at 1-0.
