The Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN) football crushed the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), 55-20 in Thursday's non-league bout.

With the win, Happy Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Claiborne (New Tazewell, TN) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Claiborne lost 50-0 in their recent non-league contest against Volunteer (Church Hill, TN)

Coming up next, the Highlanders battle the Hancock County Indians (Sneedville, TN) in a 1A Region 1 contest, on Friday, September 12. Cloudland will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
