Texas High School Football - Live Oak Classical sneaks past Covenant Christian
August 28, 2025: Waco, TX 76706 The Live Oak Classical Falcons football squad scored 16 points and restricted the visiting Covenant Christian Cougars to 12 in the Falcons non-league win on Thursday.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Live Oak Classical will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 35-13 non-league loss to Sacred Heart (Muenster, TX).
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX). The Wolves come into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, St. Francis Episcopal edged Frassati Catholic (Spring, TX), 30-21, in a non-league test.
