In Thursday's non-league game, the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) football team triumphed over the visiting Fossil Ridge Panthers (Keller, TX), by a tally of 46-0.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 4. The Colony will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 29-28 non-league win over Grapevine (Grapevine, TX).

With the defeat, Fossil Ridge drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4.
