In Thursday's non-league match, the host Red Level Tigers football team scored a big 48-12 win over the Shields Panthers.

With the win, Red Level advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Kinston (Kinston, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 2 battle on Friday, September 5. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Kinston won 34-16 in their recent non-league battle against Geneva County (Hartford, AL)
