Ohio High School Football - Trinity thwarted by Western Reserve

Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH), 33-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Western Reserve advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Columbiana (Columbiana, OH) to play the Clippers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. The Clippers go into the battle with a record of 0-2. Columbiana lost 41-7 in their recent non-league battle against McDonald (McDonald, OH)

The Trojans now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Rootstown for a non-league battle on Friday, September 5. Trinity will play a Rovers team coming off a 44-6 non-league win over Springfield (Akron, OH). The Rovers record now stands at 2-0.
