Kentucky High School Volleyball - Walton-Verona can't get by Boone County
August 28, 2025: Walton, KY 41094 Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Boone County advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to Ludlow (Ludlow, KY) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bearcats now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. Walton-Verona will play a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
