California High School Volleyball - Schurr over Monrovia
August 28, 2025: Monrovia, CA 91016 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) and the host Monrovia Wildcats (Monrovia, CA), observed Schurr's volleyball team top Monrovia by a count of 2-0.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against La Serna (Whittier, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league battle with a 4-0 record.
The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Covina for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Monrovia will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Westridge (Pasadena, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
