Illinois High School Flag Football - Wauconda thwarted by Cary-Grove
August 28, 2025: Wauconda, IL 60084 Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL), 30-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Cary-Grove upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-0. Crystal Lake Central won 40-12 in their recent non-league match against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the North Chicago Warhawks (North Chicago, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, September 3. Wauconda will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
