August 28, 2025: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) and the visiting Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA), saw Western Wayne's soccer squad hold off Scranton Prep by a count of 1-0.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (Kingsley, PA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 3. Scranton Prep will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
