Minnesota High School Soccer - Minnetonka knocks off Zimmerman
August 28, 2025: Zimmerman, MN 55398 The Minnetonka Skippers soccer squad scored 14 points and held the host Zimmerman Thunder to 0 in the Skippers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Skippers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host St. Paul Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Minnetonka will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Minutemen record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Zimmerman moves to 1-2 on the year. The Thunder host North Branch (North Branch, MN) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-0. North Branch won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against St. Agnes (St. Paul, MN)
