The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting DeMatha Stags to 21 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to John Carroll for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 11.

The Stags (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
