August 28, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28054 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Ashbrook Greenwave football squad scored a good 28-0 victory over the Berry Cardinals.
The Greenwave (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Northwest Cabarrus thwarted Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 19-0, in a non-league match.
The Cardinals now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Rocky River for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Berry will play a Ravens team coming off a 40-18 non-league loss to Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 0-2.
