South Carolina High School Football - Loris can't hold off Conway
August 28, 2025: Loris, SC 29569 Conway Tigers (Conway, SC) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host Loris Lions (Loris, SC), 14-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Conway improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tigers host Cheraw (Cheraw, SC) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4. The Braves come into the match with a record of 0-1. Cheraw lost 36-0 in their recent non-league match against Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC)
Coming up next, the Lions meet the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Loris will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 30-16 non-league win over Darlington (Darlington, SC).
