August 28, 2025: Tooele, UT 84074 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT) and the host Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), witnessed Cyprus's football squad wallop Tooele by a tally of 49-6.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Jordan (West Jordan, UT). The Jaguars go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
The Buffaloes now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Deseret Peak for a battle on Wednesday, September 3. Tooele will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 20-12 non-league loss to Richfield (Richfield, UT). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
