Utah High School Football - Deseret Peak thwarted by Richfield
August 28, 2025: Richfield, UT 84701 Richfield Wildcats (Richfield, UT) boosters were content Thursday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Deseret Peak Golden Eagles (Tooele, UT), 20-12 in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their match against North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT). The Hawks come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, North Sanpete was beaten by Delta (Delta, UT), 22-21, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT) in a battle, on Wednesday, September 3. Deseret Peak will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Buffaloes go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 49-6 non-league loss to Cyprus (Magna, UT).
