South Carolina High School Football - Georgetown can't hold off South Florence
August 28, 2025: Florence, SC 29505 The South Florence Bruins got by the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs football squad by a count of 30-26 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bruins now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sumter for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. South Florence will meet a Gamecocks squad coming off a 45-27 non-league loss to White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Gamecocks record now stands at 0-1.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Manning (Manning, SC). The Monarchs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
