August 28, 2025: Payson, UT 84651 The Payson Lions overwhelmed the visiting Kearns Cougars football squad by a count of 48-14 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Timpview for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4.
With the defeat, Kearns drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hunter (West Valley City, UT) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
