August 28, 2025: Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL), 4-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Schaumburg advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to Central (Burlington, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL)
With the loss, Crystal Lake South moves to 1-1 on the year. The Gators travel to Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to play the Bucs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. The Bucs go into the bout with a record of 1-0.
