In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) soccer squad nipped the host Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC), by a margin of 3-2.

The Tigers now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vance County for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 29.
