The Evangelical Christian Sentinels (Fort Myers, FL) volleyball held off the host Babcock Trailblazers (Punta Gorda, FL), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Sentinels now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway Charter for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 4.

With the loss, Babcock drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL) to confront the Vikings in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2.
