In Thursday's non-league test, the host Corona del Sol Aztecs volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Basha Bears.

With the win, Corona del Sol improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Pumas in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Pumas go into the test with a record of 1-0.
