Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) and the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), saw Northeastern's volleyball squad notch a victory over Monroe Central by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Northeastern improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to encounter the Golden Falcons in a battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Golden Falcons go into the contest with a record of 5-3.
