August 28, 2025: Floyds Knobs, IN 47119 Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Floyd Central advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Jasper (Jasper, IN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-1. Jasper won 1-0 in their recent non-league outing against New Albany (New Albany, IN)
Next up, the Pirates play the Madison Cubs (Madison, IN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Charlestown will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Cubs go into the outing with a 2-1 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Greensburg (Greensburg, IN).
