Kentucky High School Soccer - Tates Creek nudged by Cooper
August 28, 2025: Union, KY 41091 Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 2-1 in a non-league bout.
The Jaguars now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Newport Central Catholic for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Cooper will play a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Tates Creek moves to 2-6 on the year. The Commodores host Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. The Blue Devils enter the game with a record of 5-0.
