August 28, 2025: Fall River, MA 02720 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) and the host Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA), saw Mt. Hope's soccer squad knock off Durfee by a count of 3-1.
The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Hilltoppers battle the Taunton Tigers (Taunton, MA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Durfee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA).
