August 28, 2025: St. Clairsville, OH 43950 St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), 4-2 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Clairsville advances its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Steubenville (Steubenville, OH) to clash with the Big Red in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) test on Thursday, September 4. The Big Red come into the test with a record of 3-0. Steubenville won 7-1 in their recent non-league test against East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH)
The Monarchs now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. John Marshall will play a Polar Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-0.
