Ohio High School Soccer - Waynedale nudges Loudonville
August 28, 2025: Apple Creek, OH 44606 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) and the visiting Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH), saw Waynedale's soccer squad hold off Loudonville by a count of 1-0.
The Golden Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH). The Falcons enter the Wayne County battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Hillsdale was edged by Northwestern (West Salem, OH), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Redbirds confront the Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 2. Loudonville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Mentor Christian (Mentor, OH).
