Wisconsin High School Soccer - River Falls toppled by Wausau East
August 28, 2025: River Falls, WI 54022 Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Wausau East advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Marshfield (Marshfield, WI) to clash with the Tigers in a Wisconsin Valley test on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Marshfield won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Appleton West (Appleton, WI)
The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Altoona for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. River Falls will clash with a Railroaders team coming off a 2-2 non-league Arcadia (Arcadia, WI). The Railroaders record now stands at 0-1.
