California High School Volleyball - Alhambra over Sonoma Valley
August 28, 2025: Martinez, CA 94553 In Thursday's non-league test, the host Alhambra Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Sonoma Valley Dragons.
With the win, Alhambra improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 2-0. Pinole Valley won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA)
The Dragons now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. Sonoma Valley will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-1.
