In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Austin Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Dimond Lynx.

Next up, the Maroons confront the Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 28. Austin will attempt to advance on its 21-1 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brandeis (San Antonio, TX).

With the loss, Dimond drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Glenn (Leander, TX) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29.
